In osteoblasts, it supports transcription activation and synergizes with RUNX2 to enhance FGFR2-mediated activation of the osteocalcin FGF-responsive element (OCFRE).
It acts as an essential corepressor protein regulating key pathways such as the Notch pathway.
Functions as a negative regulator of Notch signaling by interacting with RBPSUH, preventing NOTCH1-RBPSUH association and suppressing Notch transactivation.
Blocks differentiation of precursor B-cells into marginal zone B-cells.
Likely represses transcription via recruitment of histone deacetylase complexes and may bind both DNA and RNA.
