Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 35% cross-reactivity with recombinant human ILT2 and 5% with ILT5 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
LILRB2 (ILT4) gene is part of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family located at chromosomal region 19q13.4.
This receptor includes multiple immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane region, and cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs).
It binds MHC class I molecules on antigen-presenting cells and transduces inhibitory signals to modulate immune response, controlling inflammation and cytotoxicity while preventing autoreactivity.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms exist.
