Product Specific Information
Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration. For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Stable for several weeks at 4°C as undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum and purified or partially purified Glutathione-S-Transferase (GST).
Target Information
Glutathione S-transferase (GST) is a 26 kDa protein found in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes, catalyzing diverse reactions. GST is used in gene fusion systems, allowing purification of fusion proteins via high affinity for glutathione. These fusion proteins are valuable for studying direct protein–protein interactions. The GST gene fusion system has been incorporated into numerous expression vectors.
