Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
THAP6 (THAP domain-containing protein 6) is a 222 amino acid protein containing one THAP-type zinc finger and exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms.
The THAP6 gene spans approximately 36,528 bases and maps to human chromosome 4q21.1. Chromosome 4 represents about 6% of the human genome and includes nearly 900 genes.
Notable genes located on chromosome 4 include Huntingtin (HTT), associated with Huntington’s disease, and FGFR-3, linked to thanatophoric dwarfism, achondroplasia, Muenke syndrome, and bladder cancer.
Chromosome 4 is also associated with Ellis-van Creveld syndrome, methylmalonic acidemia, and polycystic kidney disease.
