Target Information
IL-31은 주로 T helper type 2 세포에서 생성되는 T 세포 사이토카인입니다. IL-31은 IL-31 수용체(IL-31R)와 oncostatin M 수용체(OSM)로 구성된 이형이량체 수용체를 통해 신호를 전달합니다.
이 수용체 복합체는 JAK1, JAK2, Stat1, Stat3, Stat5 및 PI3 kinase/AKT 경로를 활성화하며, SHP-2 및 Shc 어댑터 단백질을 통해 MAP kinase 경로를 강화합니다.
마우스에서 IL-31 과발현은 인간 아토피 피부염(AD)과 유사한 가려움 및 피부염을 유발합니다. AD 환자의 피부는 정상 피부에 비해 IL-31R 발현이 높으며, 침윤 세포에서도 IL-31 mRNA가 검출됩니다.
IL-31은 가려움 신호에 관여하며, 아토피 피부염 모델에서 긁기 행동을 유도할 수 있어 항소양제 개발의 잠재적 표적이 됩니다.
