Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis:
Human, Gorilla, Orangutan, Monkey, Marmoset, Dog, Bovine, Elephant, Panda, Horse, Pig (100%);
Gibbon, Opossum, Turkey, Chicken (94%); Xenopus (89%); Rat (83%).

For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were treated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.


Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the type 3 G protein-coupled receptor family, characterized by a 7-transmembrane domain motif. The encoded protein may modulate insulin secretion, and increased expression is associated with type 2 diabetes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
