Target Information
STAT1 (Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription 1)은 STAT 전사인자 패밀리의 구성원으로, interferon-α, interferon-γ, EGF, PDGF, IL6 등에 의해 활성화됩니다.
세포 성장, 세포사멸, 면역 반응, 지질 대사 관련 유전자의 발현을 조절하며, 다양한 자극 및 병원체 노출에 대한 세포 생존성에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
STAT1 유전자는 염색체 2번에 위치하며, JAK 타이로신 키나아제에 의해 인산화된 후 핵으로 이동하여 다양한 유전자의 전사를 조절합니다.
STAT1, STAT3, STAT5a, STAT5b는 폭넓은 활성 프로필을 가지며, IFN 계열(IFN-α, IFN-β, IFN-γ, IL-10), gp130 계열(IL-6, IL-11, LIF, CNTF, G-CSF), 수용체 타이로신 키나아제(EGF, PDGF, CSF-1)에 의해 활성화됩니다.
두 가지 상이한 isoform을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사체가 보고되어 있습니다.
