Target Information
EPHB3 is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the ephrin receptor family. Members of the Eph family play important roles in biological processes such as:
- Nervous system development
- Angiogenesis
- Neural synapse formation and maturation
Ephrin ligands and Eph receptors exhibit reciprocal expression in vivo, with nearly all expressed in developing and adult neural tissue. Ephs and ephrins are also significant in angiogenesis.
