Target Information
ELP2 regulates the ligand-dependent activation of STAT3. It functions as a subunit of the RNA polymerase II elongator complex, which possesses histone acetyltransferase activity and is involved in transcriptional elongation. The elongator complex may also play a role in chromatin remodeling and histone acetylation, particularly of histones H3 and H4.
