Target Information
PI4KB and PI4KA are human type III PI4 kinases that share sequence similarity with PI3 kinases and phosphorylate the 4 position of phosphatidylinositol.
These kinases may play roles in neuronal differentiation and maturation and act as transporters for alanine, serine, cysteine, and threonine with sodium dependence.
