Target Information
TCF-9 (transcription factor 9), C2orf3, GCF 또는 DNABF로도 알려진 단백질은 781 아미노산으로 구성된 핵 단백질로 GCF 패밀리에 속합니다. 다양한 조직에서 발현되며, beta-Actin, EGFR, CANP promoter의 GC-rich 서열에 결합합니다. 여러 개의 phosphoserine 및 phosphothreonine 잔기를 포함하며, 대체 스플라이싱에 의해 두 가지 isoform이 생성됩니다. GCF는 인간 염색체 2번(약 237 Mb, 1,400개 이상의 유전자 포함, 전체 게놈의 약 8%) 상에 위치하며, 난독증 감수성 유전자(DYX3)와 인접해 있습니다.
