Target Information
APH1은 감마-시크리타제 복합체의 필수 서브유닛으로, Notch 수용체 및 APP(beta-amyloid precursor protein)과 같은 막 단백질의 절단을 촉매하는 내막 단백질 가수분해효소 복합체입니다.
감마-시크리타제 복합체는 최소한 presenilin homodimer(PSEN1 또는 PSEN2), nicastrin(NCSTN), APH1(APH1A 또는 APH1B), PEN2로 구성되어 있으며, 추가 구성 요소가 존재할 수 있습니다.
APH1은 presenilin homodimer의 안정화 보조인자로 작용하여 안정적인 복합체 형성을 촉진합니다.
