Target Information
BUBR1는 Ser/Thr protein kinase 계열에 속하며, 유사분열 체크포인트의 주요 구성 요소로서 모든 염색체가 방추사에 올바르게 부착될 때까지 anaphase 진행을 지연시킵니다. 이 스핀들 체크포인트가 손상되면 유전적 불안정성이 증가하여 세포의 악성 변형을 유발할 수 있습니다. 인간 세포에는 BUB1 유전자로부터 진화한 두 관련 단백질 kinase(hBUBR1, hBUB1)가 존재하며, 이들은 유사분열 동안 kinetochore-미세소관 상호작용을 감시합니다. hBUBR1은 세포가 너무 일찍 anaphase로 진입하는 것을 방지하여 정상적인 유사분열 진행에 필수적입니다. BUBR1은 여러 인간 암 조직에서 검출되었으며, BCSG1(Breast Cancer-Specific Gene 1)의 결합 파트너로 확인되어 유사분열 체크포인트 조절에 영향을 미쳐 유방암 진행을 가속화할 수 있습니다.
