Target Information

Sorbitol dehydrogenase는 polyol과 해당 ketose 간의 상호 전환을 촉매합니다. Aldose reductase와 함께 작용하여, ALDR1이 NADPH를 보조 인자로 사용해 glucose를 sorbitol로 환원시키면 SORD는 NAD를 이용해 sorbitol을 fructose로 산화시킵니다.
