Target Information
STAT2는 STAT 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 사이토카인과 성장인자 자극에 반응하여 인산화되고 핵으로 이동하여 전사 활성 인자로 작용합니다.
인터페론(IFN) 자극 시 STAT1, ISGF3G(p48)과 복합체(ISGF3)를 형성하며, DNA에 직접 결합하지 않고 전사 활성화 역할을 수행합니다.
또한, EP300/CREBBP와 상호작용하여 아데노바이러스에 의한 IFN-α 반응 억제 과정에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
