Product Specific Information

MA5-18092 is negative on all human cells and cell lines tested. This antibody recognizes a rat cell surface marker, and therefore cannot be used as a negative control in this species.

Test results have shown that MA5-18092 is also suitable for use as a negative control with bovine, ovine, porcine, equine, canine, lapine and guinea-pig tissues.

For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100 µL.

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Mouse IgG1 is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
