Target Information
Formyl peptide receptor 2 (FPR2) is a low-affinity receptor for N-formyl-methionyl peptides. Binding of FMLP to FPR2 activates neutrophils via a G-protein-mediated phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Activation of LXA4R may lead to anti-inflammatory effects counteracting proinflammatory signals such as LTB4.
