Target Information
Caspase 6 is an enzyme encoded by the human caspase 6 gene, located on chromosome 4q25–q26. It belongs to the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family and functions as a downstream enzyme in the caspase activation cascade. Caspase 6 can cleave lamin A to its characteristic apoptotic fragment.
