Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The Patched1 (PTCH1) gene encodes a receptor for the Sonic Hedgehog (SHH) signaling pathway, which plays a critical role in embryonic development and tumorigenesis.
This gene acts as a tumor suppressor, and mutations have been linked to basal cell nevus syndrome, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, trichoepitheliomas, transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder, and holoprosencephaly.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
