Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Synapse-Associated Protein 102 (SAP102) is a member of a family of plasma membrane-associated proteins found in synaptic junctions.
SAP102 contains three PDZ domains, an SH3 domain, and a GuK domain. PDZ-domain interactions are thought to contribute to receptor and channel clustering, influencing neuronal plasticity.
SAP102 interacts with NMDA receptors and shaker-type potassium channels, both of which share a T/SXV motif. Other neuronal proteins with similar motifs may also bind SAP102.
Neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS), lacking the T/SXV motif, can associate with SAP102 via PDZ-PDZ interactions.
