Target Information
MAGEC1은 melanoma antigen gene (MAGE) family에 속하는 단백질로, 자가 세포독성 T 림프구에 의해 인식될 수 있는 종양 특이 항원이다. 이 단백질은 MAGE-homologous 서열 앞에 다수의 짧은 반복 서열을 포함하며, 다른 MAGE 단백질보다 약 800개의 잔기가 더 길다. 본 유전자는 다양한 조직학적 유형의 종양에서 발현되며, 정상 조직에서는 고환을 제외하고 발현되지 않는다. 그 기능은 아직 알려져 있지 않다.
