Target Information

CD321 (F11R, JAM-1, JAM-A) is a cell-surface adhesion molecule belonging to the Ig superfamily. It is a 32–41 kD glycoprotein with two extracellular Ig-like domains, a transmembrane region, and a short cytosolic tail.
CD321 assembles as a homodimer and associates with other membrane proteins such as integrins. It is expressed on leukocytes, platelets, erythrocytes, stem cells, epithelial, and endothelial cells, playing a role in cell-cell contact, epithelial barrier maintenance, hematopoiesis, angiogenesis, and tumor progression.
