This antibody recognizes drebrin, an approximately 100–125 kDa intracellular regulator of the actin cytoskeleton.
Recommended dilution is for 100 µL of whole blood or 1×10⁶ cells in suspension.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic actin-binding protein involved in neuronal growth. It belongs to the drebrin family, developmentally regulated in the brain. Decreased expression has been linked to memory disturbances in Alzheimer’s disease. Multiple splice variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
