Target Information

ASC2 associates with PYCARD/ASC and modulates its ability to collaborate with MEFV/pyrin and NLRP3/cryopyrin in NF-κB and pro-caspase-1 activation.
It suppresses the kinase activity of the NF-κB inhibitor kinase (IKK) complex, reduces expression of NF-κB–inducible genes, and inhibits NF-κB activation by cytokines and LPS.
