• For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered ring-shaped 20S core structure, composed of four rings of 28 non-identical subunits (two alpha and two beta rings). Proteasomes are abundant in eukaryotic cells and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent, non-lysosomal pathway. The immunoproteasome variant processes class I MHC peptides.
The PSMB7 gene encodes a beta subunit of the 20S proteasome core, belonging to the proteasome B-type (T1B) family. Its expression is downregulated by gamma interferon, and proteolytic processing is necessary for maturation. This subunit is absent in the immunoproteasome, where it is replaced by the beta 10 subunit (2i).
