Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

RUVBL2 possesses single-stranded DNA-stimulated ATPase and ATP-dependent DNA helicase (5′ to 3′) activity.
It is a component of the NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex, involved in transcriptional activation of select genes through acetylation of nucleosomal histones H4 and H2A.
This modification may alter nucleosome–DNA interactions and promote protein binding that enhances transcription.
The NuA4 complex contributes to oncogene-mediated growth induction, tumor suppressor-mediated growth arrest, replicative senescence, apoptosis, and DNA repair.
RUVBL2 plays a key role in oncogenic transformation by MYC and modulates LEF1/TCF1-CTNNB1-mediated transcriptional activation. It may also inhibit ATF2 transcriptional activity.
