This antibody is predicted to react with canine, mouse, and rat based on sequence homology.

Target Information
EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that mediates signaling in response to various growth factors. Overexpression is associated with multiple cancer types and EGFR serves as a therapeutic target.
Encoded by the EGFR gene on chromosome 7, EGFR belongs to the HER/ERbB family (ERbB2, ERbB3, ERbB4). Ligand binding (e.g., EGF, TGF-α) induces receptor dimerization and autophosphorylation of cytoplasmic tyrosine residues.
Overexpression has been observed in tumors of the head and neck, brain, bladder, stomach, breast, lung, endometrium, cervix, vulva, ovary, esophagus, and squamous cell carcinoma.
