Target Information
CD82는 전이 억제 유전자로 알려진 막 당단백질이며, transmembrane 4 superfamily에 속합니다. 이 유전자의 발현은 인간 암의 진행 과정에서 감소하는 것으로 보고되었으며, p53에 의해 프로모터의 결합 서열을 통해 활성화될 수 있습니다. CD82와 p53의 발현은 강하게 상관되어 있으며, 두 단백질의 발현 소실은 전립선암 환자의 낮은 생존율과 연관되어 있습니다. 이 유전자는 서로 다른 두 가지 스플라이싱 전사 변이를 통해 구별되는 아이소폼을 생성합니다.
