Product Specific Information
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is pancreas tissue.
Target Information
Thrombin is a serine protease involved in platelet aggregation and blood coagulation. It is cleaved from its precursor, prothrombin, and converts fibrinogen to fibrin in the final step of the clotting cascade.
Thrombin mediates its regulatory effects by activating cell surface G-protein coupled receptors, including PAR-1, PAR-2, and PAR-3.
