This polyclonal antibody recognizes the light chains of rat immunoglobulins. No reactivity to non-immunoglobulin rat serum proteins has been detected.

Applications Reported:
Used for detection of purified rat immunoglobulins (IgG) in flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry to detect purified rat monoclonal antibodies. Recommended use ≤0.25 µg per test (defined as the amount that stains cells in 100 µL final volume).
Cell number should be determined empirically (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
Careful titration is recommended for optimal performance.

This antibody has been adsorbed and tested by ELISA to ensure minimal cross-reactivity to human, bovine, horse, mouse, and rabbit serum proteins, though it may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.
