For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the patched gene family. The encoded protein acts as the receptor for sonic hedgehog, desert hedgehog, and indian hedgehog proteins, which are involved in embryonic development and tumorigenesis.
PTCH1 functions as a tumor suppressor; mutations are associated with basal cell nevus syndrome, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, trichoepitheliomas, transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder, and holoprosencephaly.
Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. Some splice variants have been described but their full sequences and biological validity remain uncertain.
