Target Information
TET3는 ten-eleven-translocation (TET) 유전자군에 속하는 methylcytosine dioxygenase로, methylcytosine을 5-hydroxymethylcytosine으로 변환하는 반응을 촉매합니다. 주로 조혈세포에서 발현되며, TET2와 달리 TET3 변이는 골수성 악성종양에서 보고되지 않았습니다. TET3는 수정 직후 접합체 DNA의 탈메틸화 과정에 관여하며, 수정 후 부계 DNA의 후성유전적 재프로그래밍 및 동물 복제 시 체세포 핵 재프로그래밍에도 기여할 것으로 제안되었습니다.
