Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening individual clones to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Thioredoxins (Trx) are small, multifunctional proteins with oxidoreductase activity and are ubiquitous in living cells. Trx contains a redox-active disulfide/dithiol group within the conserved Cys-Gly-Pro-Cys active site. The two cysteine residues can form intramolecular disulfide bonds, and their reduction is catalyzed by thioredoxin reductase using NADPH as an electron donor.
Reduced Trx acts as a hydrogen donor for ribonucleotide reductase, essential for DNA synthesis, and serves as a general protein disulfide reductase involved in growth and redox regulation. Targets for Trx reduction include protein disulfide-isomerase (PDI) and transcription factors such as p53, NF-κB, and AP-1. Trx also removes H₂O₂ when coupled with methionine sulfoxide reductase or peroxiredoxin isoforms.
