This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Target Information

Thrombomodulin (TM), also known as Fetomodulin (FM), endothelial anticoagulant protein, or glycoprotein P112, contains six EGF-like domains and an amino-terminal lectin-like domain. TM accelerates activation of protein C, contributing to thrombo-resistance and reducing clot formation on endothelial surfaces.
Immunohistochemical staining for TM is useful in the study of vascular tumors, meningiomas, and choriocarcinomas.
