Target Information
Vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) is an enveloped RNA virus belonging to the Rhabdoviridae family. It is released from the plasma membrane of host cells via a budding process. The glycoprotein (VSV G) contains a domain in its extracellular membrane-proximal stem that is required for efficient budding.
