Target Information

The DYKDDDDK tag (FLAG tag) is an eight-amino-acid sequence (Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys) commonly used for protein purification, detection, and localization. It can be fused to either terminus of a protein, enabling easy identification and isolation using anti-FLAG antibodies.

This tag is hydrophilic and less likely to denature proteins compared to other epitope tags.
