Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Macrophage receptor that binds apolipoprotein B48 (APOB) of dietary triglyceride-rich lipoproteins (TRL) or similar APOB domains in hypertriglyceridemic VLDL.
Mediates uptake of TRL and may supply essential lipids to reticuloendothelial cells.
Involved in foam cell formation under elevated TRL and remnant lipoprotein conditions.
Facilitates rapid, high-affinity uptake of chylomicrons, HTG-VLDL, and trypsinized VLDL lacking APOE in macrophages.
