Target Information
The MOB1 protein is a component of the Hippo signaling pathway, which regulates organ size and tumor growth by promoting apoptosis. Loss of MOB1 leads to uncontrolled cell proliferation and tumor formation. It also plays a role in microtubule stability during cytokinesis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
