Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
PDPK1 (3 Phosphoinositide Dependent Protein Kinase 1) phosphorylates AGC kinases and activates conventional PKC and PKC zeta through phosphorylation of critical threonine residues in the activation loop.
It also phosphorylates Protein Kinase B (PKB) at threonine 308 in the presence of phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate.
Active Akt inactivates Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 (GSK3), leading to glycogen synthase activation and stimulation of glycogen synthesis.
Because PDPK1 plays a key role in insulin-induced glycogen synthesis and PKC activation, it is an important target for metabolic drug research.
