Product Specific Information
The monoclonal mouse IgG2b, kappa antibody is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
Alexa Fluor® 488 Mouse IgG2b Isotype Control is reported for use in immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometric analysis.
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 519 nm; Laser: Blue Laser.
Post-manufacturing filtration: 0.2 µm.
Target Information
Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immune response.
It consists of two heavy and two light chains and is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
Widely used in research and diagnostics such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as therapeutic research including immunotherapy and vaccine development.
