Product Specific Information
Reconstitution:
Briefly centrifuge vial before opening. Reconstitute with 250 µL of ice-cold, sterile, distilled water on ice.
Storage:
Store lyophilized product at -20°C, preferably desiccated. After reconstitution, store at 2–8°C for up to one week. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a proinflammatory cytokine that induces IFN-gamma production in T cells. In combination with IL-12, it inhibits IL-4–dependent IgE and IgG1 production while enhancing IgG2a production in B cells. IL-18 binding protein can interact with this cytokine and negatively regulate its biological activity.
