Target Information
MMP-19 (RASI-1, MMP-18)는 508개의 아미노산으로 구성된 펩타이드로, 류마티스 관절염(RA) 환자의 활막에서 자가항원으로 처음 분리되었습니다. 활성화된 PBMCs, TH1 림프구, Jurkat T 림프종 세포 표면에서의 발현은 MMP-19가 RA 관련 관절 조직 파괴에 관여함을 시사합니다. MMP-19는 RA 환자의 대혈관 평활근 세포에서 존재하지만 내피세포층에서는 발견되지 않습니다. 급성 염증 조직의 활막 모세혈관은 세포질 내에서 MMP-19를 강하게 발현하며, 염증 시 모세혈관 내피세포에서의 MMP-19 유도는 혈관신생(angiogenesis)에 관여할 가능성을 보여줍니다. MMP-19는 유방, 태반, 폐, 췌장, 난소, 소장, 비장, 흉선, 전립선, 고환, 결장, 심장 등 다양한 조직에서 2.7kb 단일 전사체로 존재합니다.
