Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Human IgA (immunoglobulin A) is an antibody produced by the immune system in response to antigens. It is the most abundant immunoglobulin in mucosal secretions such as saliva, tears, and breast milk, and plays a key role in defense against pathogens at mucosal surfaces. IgA binds to specific antigens to prevent their entry into body tissues, activates complement, and promotes phagocytosis by immune cells.
Human IgA is widely used in research to study immune responses and to develop diagnostic and therapeutic tools for infectious diseases.
