Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the frizzled gene family, which includes 7-transmembrane domain proteins acting as receptors for Wnt signaling proteins. The encoded protein contains a signal peptide, a cysteine-rich domain in the N-terminal extracellular region, and seven transmembrane domains but lacks a C-terminal PDZ domain-binding motif. It functions as a negative regulator of the canonical Wnt/beta-catenin signaling cascade, inhibiting oncogenic transformation, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
