Target Information
이 유전자는 frizzled 유전자 패밀리에 속하며, Wnt 신호 단백질의 수용체 역할을 하는 7-막관통 도메인 단백질을 암호화합니다. 해당 단백질은 N-말단의 시그널 펩타이드와 시스테인-풍부 영역을 포함하며, 다른 family member와 달리 C-말단 PDZ 도메인 결합 모티프가 없습니다. 이 단백질은 canonical Wnt/β-catenin 신호 경로의 음성 조절자로 작용하여, 종양 변환, 세포 증식 및 세포사 억제를 유도하는 과정을 억제합니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사체 변형이 생성됩니다.
