- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step.

Target Information
Adiponectin is a protein hormone secreted exclusively by adipocytes that regulates lipid and glucose metabolism. It plays a role in homeostasis and obesity. Low adiponectin levels are associated with obesity, insulin resistance, and type 2 diabetes. In mice, adiponectin enhances insulin signaling and reduces intramyocellular lipid levels by activating AMP kinase and PPAR-alpha, promoting fatty acid transport and oxidation.
