RSPO1은 R-spondin 패밀리에 속하는 분비성 활성 단백질을 암호화하는 유전자입니다. 두 개의 cysteine-rich, furin-like 도메인과 하나의 thrombospondin type 1 도메인을 포함합니다.
마우스 모델에서 RSPO1 단백질은 crypt 세포 증식을 빠르게 유도하고 장 상피 치유를 촉진하여 항암 치료로 인한 부작용으로부터 보호 효과를 제공합니다.
