Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates.

Target Information
NogoA belongs to the reticulon family of integral membrane proteins involved in various cellular processes and neurological disorders. It regulates interactions with multiple proteins and receptors, such as BACE.
NogoA acts as a myelin-associated neurite outgrowth inhibitor and is highly expressed in oligodendrocytes of CNS white matter. Blocking its activity enhances axon regrowth and functional recovery in CNS lesion models.
Elevated NogoA levels have been reported in neurodegenerative diseases such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Multiple Sclerosis (MS), where autoantibodies to NogoA have been detected in patient serum and cerebrospinal fluid.
