이 항체의 immunogen은 human leiomyoma에서 분리된 desmin입니다.
Target Information
Desmin(약 53 kDa)은 근육 세포(심근, 골격근, 평활근)에 주로 발현되는 고특이적 단백질입니다.
Desmin 발현은 조직 및 발달 단계에 따라 조절되며, 골격근 세포 분화의 말기 단계에서 유도됩니다.
골격근 및 심근 세포에서는 Z-디스크와 개재판(intercalated disk)에 위치하며, 평활근에서는 발현 패턴이 다양합니다.
Vimentin과 desmin의 공발현은 rhabdomyosarcoma 및 leiomyosarcoma와 같은 근육 유래 종양에서 관찰됩니다.
또한, 심근 기능 이상 시 desmin의 분포에 현저한 변화가 보고되었습니다.
