Target Information
RAD23B 단백질은 효모 Saccharomyces cerevisiae의 Rad23에 상응하는 인간 단백질로, 뉴클레오타이드 절제 복구(NER) 과정에 관여합니다. 이 단백질은 xeroderma pigmentosum group C (XP-C) 세포 추출물의 NER 결함을 보완하는 단백질 복합체의 구성 요소로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 3-methyladenine-DNA glycosylase (MPG)와 상호작용하여 염기 절제 복구에서 DNA 손상 인식에 역할을 할 수 있습니다. N-말단의 유비퀴틴 유사 도메인은 26S 프로테아좀과 상호작용하여 유비퀴틴 매개 단백질 분해 경로에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
